Arriving by car

The vacation home is located in Montabaur/Eschelbach in the picturesque Westerwald region, directly on the A3 motorway and centrally located between the metropolitan areas of Frankfurt and Cologne, each of which is an hour away by car.

Coming from the A3 motorway, take the Montabaur exit and follow the signs towards FOC (Fashion Outlet Center). At the roundabout, keep right and follow the signs towards Wirges. After passing under the motorway bridge, you will find yourself in Eschelbach and take the first side street on the left. As soon as you turn off the main road (Margeritenstraße) onto Bergstraße, you will see the second house on the left-hand side of the street. It has a striking blue base and yellow garage doors. The entrance is on the left-hand side of the house, up the steps.

Montabaur has an ICE and long-distance bus station, providing excellent connections to the surrounding region and beyond. Both stations are about a 10-minute walk from your apartment, and there is a bus stop right on the main road.

We highly recommend the best bakery in the area.

Mühlenbäcker is about a 5-minute drive away in Montabaur (Allmannshausen 10). Alternatively, there are two other recommended bakeries in Dernbach, such as Bäckerei Nink or Café Görg, which is directly opposite the apartment.

Wenn du dir das Essen liefern lassen möchtest, so empfehlen wir dir unseren absoluten Lieblings-Italiener "MiPiace", sehr leckeres Essen zu einem fairen Preis. Falls du zu einer späten Uhrzeit anreist, so findest du im nahegelegenen Heiligenroth einen McDonalds und Burger King.

There are various supermarkets (e.g., REWE or Edeka) and discount stores (Aldi or Penny) in Montabaur, where you can find everything you need for your daily needs.

For clothing and other items, the Fashion Outlet Center Montabaur or several other stores in the Heiligenroth industrial park are definitely worth a visit.

Our tip: The REWE-Supermarkt has a great selection of self-service baked goods and a fresh meat, fish and sushi counter.
